On the Stockholm waterfront I approached the only sidewalk cafe table that seemed to have room and asked a gentleman sitting there if I could join him. “Anyone can join me”, he said, which made striking up a better conversation with him even easier. Turns out he was full of information I’d been looking for on local details, including how to find a boat to the island I want to see, Sandhamn Is. He knew exactly because he owns a house there! He was very helpful and left me with a card and helped me to pronounce his unusual name, Trygve. And he said if I need more help with anything to give him a call. I’m thinking if Trump gets elected this fall, maybe he can help me with my Swedish citizenship application!
