May 21, 2016- Barbara Prath
When I lived in Vienna for a couple years I rented an apartment from Barbara Prath and her family. She was much more than a landlord but became a real friend, as did the other members of her family. I had a great reunion with her these 6 years later. It was so great to see her! She was delighted to see me and we walked to a lovely park by the MAK museum for an hour’s conversation about old times and what our friends and family are up to now. I gave her two books (for her and her daughter, Florentina- #469) and she gave me all the news. Perhaps we’ll meet again before too long.
